Slowly silently now the moon, walks the night in her silver shoon and this way and that she peers and sees silver fruit upon silver trees ….
At least tI think this is how this wonderful poem goes! I learned it in Pitcorthie School, Dunfermline when I was about 7 or 8. Every time the moon peeks through my window,even though I am 57, l watch her and say the poem.
